Keep America Beautiful Appoints Jacqueline Grace as Chief Development Officer

SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): Keep America Beautiful®, the nation’s premier community improvement nonprofit organization, announced that nonprofit and media industry leader, Jacqueline Grace, has been named the organization’s Chief Development Officer. In that role, Grace will oversee all fundraising efforts including relationships with long-standing Keep America Beautiful supporters, as well as developing new partners, and diversifying revenue streams through innovation and strategic initiatives. “Keep America Beautiful is thrilled to have someone of Jacqueline’s depth and range of experiences as a leader and developer of mission-critical programs that have meaning and create impact,” said Keep America Beautiful President and CEO Helen Lowman. “We foresee Jacqueline’s vision helping us forge even deeper connections to our partners, supporters, and volunteers in creating healthier, safer, and more beautiful communities throughout America.”

Grace brings to Keep America Beautiful more than 20 years of leadership experience from both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Most recently she served as Chief Development Officer at Wholesome Wave, a national nonprofit focused on affordable access to fruits and vegetables for people in need. Prior to this role, Grace held senior positions at Girl Scouts of the USA, where she served as Chief of Partnerships overseeing corporate, foundation, and government funding as part of Girl Scouts’ commitment to raise $1 billion for girls. Grace also served as the inaugural Executive Director at Relationships First, and as Senior Director of Development and Cause Marketing at Save the Children. “Keep America Beautiful has such a vital role to play in helping transform our public spaces into beautiful places throughout the country,” said Grace. “I’m deeply passionate about the power that grassroots organizations have to effect change and am looking forward to helping build a new future of relevance and partnership in the communities we serve.”

Prior to her work at Save the Children, Jacqueline served in senior roles at Scholastic Inc., the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books and educational materials. Grace served as the Creative Director of Scholastic’s National Partnerships division and Instructor and Administrator magazines, developing sponsored partnerships. Grace was also the founder and President of LifeTime Media, a book publishing company whose authors include Billie Jean King, Gary Kasparov, and Chaplain of the United States Senate, Barry C. Black. LifeTime also produced branded books with organizations including The American Lung Association, Kraft Foods, Wenner Media, and The New-York Historical Society, among many others. Grace currently serves on the boards of Every Child a Reader and the Rye Arts Center.
