North American scrap gold, platinum and silver see sustained downtrend

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold prices –both hallmarked and non- hallmarked continued their downtrend Tuesday, 18th June.
In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were lower by $4.25 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down by $ 5.46 and $ 6.66 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also was quoting lower by $2.73 per Oz. The price of Platinum tumbled by $ 11.66 per Oz. Silver scrap prices were slightly lower by $0.05 per Oz.
In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 4.02 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down by $5.16 and $ 6.30 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was quoting lower by $2.58 per Oz. A drop of $11.66 per Oz was seen in platinum scrap prices. Silver scrap prices were also marginally lower by $0.05 per Oz.
