Florida Recycling Partnership Announces 2020 Leadership Team

SEATTLE (Waste Advantage): The Florida Recycling Partnership has announced its 2020 leadership team.  Dawn McCormick, Director, Communications & Community Relations for Waste Management of Florida, Inc. was re-elected as Chair.   Elizabeth Castro DeWitt, Executive Director of the Florida Beverage Association will serve as Chair-Elect and John P. Toner, Director of Government Relations for the International Bottled Water Association will serve as Secretary/Treasurer.

Board Members include Karl Berven – Bealls; Erin Black – Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida); Lisa Gilliard – Publix Super Markets; Donn Githens – Florida Goodwill Association; Steve Lezman – PepsiCo; Tomey Tuttle – Florida Power & Light; Doug Wheeler – Florida Ports Council; and Andrew Williams – MARPAN.

Keyna Cory will continue as Executive Director of the Partnership.

Florida Recycling Partnership is a coalition of companies who are at the forefront of developing and adopting sustainable business practices that not only promote recycling but reduce and reuse our resources. Their mission is to educate policymakers, business leaders and the general public about the benefits of recycling. In the past 6 years the organization has grown from 5 to 26 members and have conducted 12 recycling workshops/summits throughout the state.  They are also responsible for coordinating Florida Recycles Day at the Capitol.
