Commenting on the event, John Shegerian, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of ERI said that it is an honor for the company to provide such an event to the residents of Hawaii. The event will help prevent unwanted electronics from ending up in landfills, by providing a convenient way for residents to get rid of their unwanted consumer electronics.

Honolulu community can drop off their old electronic devices free of charge as part of a larger recycling event, organized in connection with the annual “Going Green” event, sponsored by Opala.org.  The used electronics thus collected will be responsibly recycled by Sony.
