Although electronic waste is a major contributor to the waste stream, it attracts the least attention. Consumers are mostly unaware of the health impacts caused by several hazardous components in discarded e-waste, including lead, cadmium and mercury.

By way of the new campaign, the company will organize online awareness programmes and webinars for students, professional and homemakers. These programmes will be open for children from the age of 10 years to adults up to the age of 60 years. The programme, driven by the Reduce, Re-Use and Recycle concept, aims to effectively channelize e-waste. The company has organized over 200+ awareness programs in schools, colleges and business organizations, noted Nandan Mall, CEO, Hulladek Recycling.
