Dynamic's Onalaska, Wisconsin E-Waste Recycling Plant Attains e-Stewards Certification

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations has announced that its Onalaska, Wisconsin e-waste recycling facility has earned prestigious e-Stewards certification from the Seattle-based watchdog organization Basel Action Network (BAN). It must be noted that the facility already possesses a series of certifications including R2, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and NAID.

Miles Harter, CEO, Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations stated that the e-Stewards certification of the facility in addition to existing R2 certification demonstrates the company’s dedication to follow processes that are in line with safeguarding the environment, employee health and safety. Further, it provides assurance to customers that all e-waste shall be managed in compliance with regulations, causing minimal risk to environment. Jason Schott, vice president of sales at Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations stated that the addition of the e-Stewards certification reinforces company’s priority to customer needs.

The company had recently carried out an investment of nearly $19 million in expansion activities at the Onalaska facility. The upgrades included addition of 135,000 square foot to the existing facility, replacement of existing equipment with new ones, installation of additional and larger sort lines and significant solar efficiency improvements.

e-Stewards is a comprehensive set of performance requirements created specifically for the electronics recycling and asset recovery industries, and other processors.
