4th September, 2024: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum Prices Declined on the Index

In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices dipped by $ 10.67 per Oz.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold values, both hallmarked and non-hallmarked recorded notable decline on the ScrapMonster Price Index as of Wednesday, September 4th, 2024. The prices of scrap Silver and Platinum too declined from the previous day.
In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices dipped by $ 10.67 per Oz. The price of 18-carat gold edged lower by $ 13.68 per Lb. The 22-carat gold scrap prices recorded a decline of $ 16.70 per Oz. 9-carat gold scrap also edged lower by $ 6.84 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a fall of $ 11.66 per Oz to reach $ 664.96 per Oz. Silver scrap prices went lower by $ 0.25 per Oz.
The price per ounce of 14-carat gold scrap decreased by $10.09 in the Non-Hallmarked category. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap also went down by $ 12.93 and $ 15.80 per Oz respectively. Additionally, 9-carat gold scrap dropped by $6.47 per Oz. The price per Oz of platinum dropped by $11.66. On the Index, the price of silver scrap decreased by $0.22 per Oz over the previous day.
