9th August, 2018: Scrap Gold Prices Dropped, Platinum and Silver Surged on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined marginally Thursday, 9^th August, 2018 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap Silver and Platinum increased on Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 1.10 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went down by $ 1.41 and $ 1.73 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also edged lower by $ 0.70 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a rise of $ 3.64 per Oz  to reach $ 610.27 per Oz. Silver scrap prices were up by $ 0.10 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went lower by $ 1.05 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went down by $ 1.34 and $ 1.64 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also declined by $ 0.67 per Oz. The prices of Platinum scrap increased by $ 3.64 per Oz. Silver scrap prices increased marginally by $0.09 per Oz to touch $ 11.31 per Oz.
