7th November, 2023: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Dropped on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper and aluminum scrap prices declined on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 7^th, Tuesday. Brass/Bronze and Stainless Steel scrap prices remained flat when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 150 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 50 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded no change over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices were flat over the previous day. Cu Yokes prices too witnessed no change.

Cu/Al Radiator prices were flat on Index.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices maintained previous day’s price level on Tuesday, November 7^th, 2023.

Heater Cores prices were unchanged on Index.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices held steady over the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed decline by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too declined by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers were unchanged.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT on Index.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices dipped by CNY 50 per MT on 7^th November, 2023.

The prices of UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices registered no change.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 7^th November, 2023.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on November 7^th, 2023.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.        

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on November 7^th, 2023.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
