7th March, 2018-North American Scrap Metal Prices Down Marginally on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices dropped marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on March 7^th, Wednesday. Aluminum and Copper scrap prices declined on Index. Brass and Bronze scrap prices held steady over the previous day. Meantime, Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices too remained unchanged.

Copper Scrap Prices

Alternator prices remained flat when compared with the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing slipped by $0.02 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.02 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went lower by $ 0.02 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery remained unchanged. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too saw no variation in prices. #3 Copper-Light copper prices dropped slightly by $0.02 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator reported no change over the previous day.

Copper Transformer, Cu Yokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends scrap prices witnessed no change over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices were down marginally by $0.02 per Lb each.

Meanwhile, Romex Wire prices too maintained previous day prices on March 7^th.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores prices too were unmoved on Index.

Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed units remained unchanged.

Starters and Xmas Lights declined too witnessed no change over the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap prices declined by $0.02 per Lb. The prices of 3003 Scrap too fell $0.02 per Lb. A down move of $0.02 per Lb was witnessed in 356 Aluminum Wheels. Meantime, 6063 Extrusions and 6063 Extrusions/Fe, 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions prices fell by $0.02 per Lb each.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe dropped marginally by $0.02 per Lb each from the previous day. The price of Aluminum Radiators too declined by $0.01 per Lb.

Aluminum Radiators/Fe, Aluminum Transformer and Breakage 50% Recovery prices decreased by $0.01 per Lb each on March 7^th.

Chrome Wheels and Litho Sheets too witnessed decline of $0.02 per Lb each.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices slipped by $0.03 per Lb.

The prices of Mixed Aluminum Turnings saw decline of $0.01 per Lb.

MLC Clips declined marginally by $0.02 per Lb.

Old Sheet, Old Cast, Painted Siding, UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices were down marginally by $0.02 per Lb each.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle prices remained flat at $365 per MT.

The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too reported no change on 7^th March, 2018.

HMS 80/20 prices held steady at $280 per MT.

Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also saw no change in prices when compared with the previous day.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

304 SS Turning witnessed no variation in prices on 5^th March, 2018.

309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.

330 SS prices were flat at $1.10 per Lb.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too remained unchanged on Index.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region remained totally flat on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices reported no change in prices on Wednesday, March 7^th, 2018.

Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.

Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices too remained flat on Index.
