6th December, 2021: North American Scrap Metal Prices Mostly Soared on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices continued to surge higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 24^th, Wednesday. Brass and Bronze scrap prices too were up on Index. Meantime, Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged on Index. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing rose by $0.05 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.05 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went higher by $ 0.05 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery were unchanged over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices edged higher by $0.01 per Lb on Index. #3 Copper-Light copper prices edged higher by $0.05 per Lb.

Copper Radiator prices were up by $0.01 per Lb.

Copper Transformer and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices held steady on December 6^th, 2021.

Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices were flat on Index.

Cu Yokes prices witnessed no change over the previous day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery, Heater cores and Romex Wire prices were up by $0.01 per Lb each on Index.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed units were flat from previous day price levels.

Starters and Xmas Lights prices witnessed no change on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too were steady on Index. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too were unchanged.

The prices of 6063 Extrusions held steady over the day.

Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions remained flat when compared with the previous day.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe remained flat. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on December 6^th, 2021.

Chrome Wheels remained flat on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices held steady over the previous day.

Litho Sheets and MLC Clips witnessed no change from previous day’s levels.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices too remained unchanged.

The prices of Old Cast and UBC saw no change over the previous day.

Old Sheet, Painted Siding and Zorba 90% NF prices too held steady.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle and #1 Busheling prices held steady over the previous day.

The prices #1 HMS witnessed no change on 6^th December, 2021.

HMS 80/20, Sheet Metal and Shredded Auto Scrap prices too remained unmoved on Index.

Structural Steel reported no change in prices in comparison with the previous day.

 Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

304 SS Turning witnessed no change in prices on December 6^th, 2021.

309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.

330 SS prices were flat from the prior day.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too remained unchanged on Index.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region soared on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices were up by $0.01 per Lb each on December 6^th, 2021.

Brass Radiator /Fe prices and Brass Radiator Ends saw no change in prices over the day.

Red Brass, Yellow Brass and Rod Borings prices increased by $0.01 per Lb each on Index.
