3rd April, 2020: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Surged Higher on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on April 3^rd, Friday. Brass, Bronze, Stainless Steel and Copper Scrap prices too were up from the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 300 per MT.

#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 300 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 300 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 10 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too surged higher by CNY 50 per MT when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices were unchanged on Index.

Cu/Al Radiators and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT.

Heater Cores were up by CNY 100 per MT on Friday, April 3^rd.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers witnessed no change on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire, Old Cast, Old Sheet and UBC prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT each on April 3^rd, 2020.

Zorba 90% NF prices saw no change over the prior day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 3^rd April, 2020.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices climbed higher by CNY 100 per MT.

304 SS Solid prices too increased by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning witnessed a rise of CNY 100 per MT.

309 SS and 310 SS prices witnessed increase of CNY 150 per MT and CNY 250 per MT respectively.

316 SS Solid scrap prices edged higher by CNY 150 per MT over the day on April 3^rd.

Shred SS prices increased by CNY 100 per MT.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded modest rise from the previous day.

Brass Radiator scrap prices saw rise of CNY 50 per MT on April 3^rd, 2020.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT each.
