2nd August, 2021: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Recorded Decline on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese Copper and Aluminum scrap prices declined modestly on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on August 2^nd, Monday. Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed slight decline on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Brass, Bronze and Steel scrap prices held steady over the day.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price decline of CNY 50 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also decreased by CNY 50 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained flat. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices remained unchanged.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Monday, August 2^nd, 2021.

Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers witnessed a decline of CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices witnessed decline by CNY 100 per MT each on August 2^nd, 2021.

UBC prices too dropped by CNY 50 per MT from the prior day.

Zorba 90% NF prices held steady on the Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 2^nd August, 2021.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices dipped by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too were down by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning dipped by CNY 150 per MT on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices were down by CNY 200 per MT each when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices too dropped by CNY 250 MT on August 2^nd, 2021.

Shred SS prices witnessed a decline by CNY 150 per MT over the day.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on August 2^nd, 2021.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
