27th May, 2020: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Exhibited Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices witnessed mixed trend on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on May 27^th, Wednesday. Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices held steady. Copper scrap prices declined, whereas Aluminum scrap prices surged over the previous day.  Stainless Steel scrap prices held flat on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing prices dipped by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also dropped by CNY 200 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices edged lower by CNY 50 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices remained unchanged.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Wednesday, May 27^th.

Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots and Radiators prices were up by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

Aluminum Transformers too were up by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

E.C Aluminum Wire, Old Cast, Old Sheet and UBC prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT each on May 27^th, 2020.

Meantime, Zorba 90% NF prices witnessed no change on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 27^th May, 2020.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on May 27^th, 2020.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on May 27^th, 2020.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
