26th September, 2022: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Saw Notable Dip on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on September 26^th, Monday. Aluminum and Brass/Bronze scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 1,500 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 1,500 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 750 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded a down move of CNY 500 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery scrap prices were down by CNY 100 per MT each.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices inched lower by CNY 500 per MT.

Heater Cores prices too declined by CNY 600 per MT on Monday, September 26^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices fell by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a dip by CNY 550 per Lb over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too were down by CNY 550 per MT on Index.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers recorded decline by CNY 250 per MT from the prior day.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dipped by CNY 550 per MT on Index.

Old Cast prices too were down by CNY 550 per MT on 26^th September, 2022.

The prices of Old Sheets dropped by CNY 550 per MT on Index.

UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices recorded decline by CNY 250 per MT from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 26^th September, 2022.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on September 26th, 2022.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.        

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on September 26^th, 2022.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too dropped by CNY 150 per MT each on Index.
