26th November, 2021: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Declined on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 26^th, Friday. Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Brass/Bronze scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down sharply by CNY 1,300 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined heavily by CNY 1,300 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 650 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded a down move of $ 100 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes prices dipped by CNY 100 per MT each when matched with the prior day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices too dipped by CNY 100 per MT from the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 300 per MT.

Heater Cores prices too declined by CNY 500 per MT on Tuesday, November 26^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices declined by CNY 50 per MT on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 550 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 550 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers were down by CNY 250 per MT and CNY 200 per MT respectively on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 550 per MT on November 26^th, 2021.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices were down by CNY 550 per MT each.

UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices dropped by CNY 250 per MT each on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 26^th November, 2021.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too declined by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning dipped by CNY 150 per MT on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices dropped by CNY 200 per MT each when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were down by CNY 250 per MT on November 26^th, 2021.

Shred SS prices too decreased by CNY 150 per MT over the day.        

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained flat on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on November 26^th, 2021.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too dropped by CNY 150 per MT each on Index.
