25th March, 2019: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Declined Heavily on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese Copper and Aluminum scrap prices declined modestly on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on March 25^th, Monday. Brass and Bronze scrap prices witnessed slight decline on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel and Stainless Steel scrap prices held steady over the day.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 800 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 800 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices dropped by CNY 300 per MT on Index over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices was down by CNY 100 per MT.

Copper Transformer Scrap prices were dropped by CNY 50 per MT on Index when matched with the prior day.

Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices too declined by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap and Heater Cores prices were down by CNY 100 per MT and CNY 200 per MT respectively on Monday, March 25^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices edged lower by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators  and Aluminum Transformers dropped by CNY 50 per MT each.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices too witnessed a down move of CNY 100 per MT each on 25^th March, 2019.

UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices reported decline by CNY 50 per MT each.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 25^th March, 2019.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index on 25^th March, 2019.

309 SS and 316 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap and Shred SS scrap prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices dropped by CNY 150 per MT on March 25^th, 2019.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were down by CNY 150 per MT each on Index.
