24th November, 2023: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Soared on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 24^th, Friday. Brass, Bronze, and Copper Scrap prices too were up from the previous day. Stainless Steel scrap prices surged on Index. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 250 per MT.

#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 250 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too surged higher by CNY 50 per MT when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices were unchanged over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were flat on Index.

Heater Cores were up by CNY 100 per MT on Friday, November 24^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices recorded no change on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers held steady on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT each on November 24^th, 2023.

Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90%NF prices were flat on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 24^th November, 2023.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT.

304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices were up by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

309 SS and 310 SS scrap prices edged higher by CNY 100 per MT and CNY 150 per MT respectively when compared with the prior day.

316 SS Solid prices were up by CNY 100 per MT on November 24^th, 2023.

Shred SS prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT from the previous day.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded modest rise from the previous day.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on November 24^th, 2023.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT each.
