24th July, 2020-North American Scrap Metal Prices Exhibited Mixed Trend on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap prices displayed mixed trend on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 24^th, Friday. Aluminum scrap prices witnessed no change, whereas Copper, Brass and Bronze scrap prices edged down on Index. Stainless Steel scrap prices edged higher marginally. Meantime Steel scrap prices remained unchanged on Index over the previous day.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.04 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.04 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright edged lower by $ 0.04 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery edged down by $0.01 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too declined by $0.01 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices inched lower by $0.04 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator recorded decline by $0.01 per Lb.

Copper Transformer Scrap remained unchanged.

Cu Yokes prices reported no change over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends, Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe remained flat on July 24^th, 2020.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery, Romex Wire and Heater Cores prices saw decline by $0.01 per Lb each over the day.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights reported no change from previous day price levels.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too were steady on Index. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too were unchanged.

The prices of 6063 Extrusions held steady over the day.

Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions remained flat when compared with the previous day.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe remained flat. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on July 24^th, 2020.

Chrome Wheels and remained flat on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices held steady over the previous day.

Litho Sheets and MLC Clips witnessed no change from previous day’s levels.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices too remained unchanged.

The prices of Old Cast and UBC saw no change over the previous day.

Old Sheet, Painted Siding and Zorba 90% NF prices too held steady.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle prices remained flat over the previous day.

The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too witnessed no change on 24^th July, 2020.

HMS 80/20 prices held steady on Index.

Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also reported no change in prices in comparison with the previous day.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices held steady over the previous day.

301 SS and 304 SS Solid prices edged down by $0.01 per Lb on Index, compared with the prior day.

304 SS Turning witnessed no change in prices on July 24^th, 2020.

309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.

330 SS prices were flat from the prior day.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too remained unchanged on Index.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region declined on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap and 85/15 Brass Scrap prices reported decline in prices by $0.01 per Lb each on Friday, July 24^th, 2020.

Brass Radiator, Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.

Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices dipped by $0.01 per Lb each on Index.
