21st February, 2019-North American Aluminum Scrap Prices Rose Marginally on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices witnessed marginal uptick on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on February 21^st, Thursday. Brass/Bronze, Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Copper scrap prices too remained unchanged. Meanwhile, Aluminum scrap prices registered marginal increase.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap remained flat over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing held steady on Index. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also flat. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright remained stable over the previous day.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery remained flat over the day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were unchanged. #3 Copper-Light copper prices witnessed no change from previous day’s level.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap witnessed no change from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too reported no change from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe held steady on February 21^st, 2019.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices were flat on Index.

The price of Romex Wire witnessed no change during the day.     

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights saw no change from previous day price levels.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap prices were up marginally by $0.01 per Lb. The prices of 3003 Scrap too edged higher by $0.01 per Lb. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too saw slight increase by $0.01 per Lb each.

The prices of 6063 Extrusions and 6063 Extrusions/Fe edged higher by $0.01 per Lb each.

Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions increased marginally by $0.01 per Lb each.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators, Al/Cu Radiators/Fe and Aluminum Radiators/Fe remained unchanged on Index. Aluminum Radiators witnessed no change on Index. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices held steady on 21^st February, 2019.

Chrome Wheels saw marginal increase in prices by $0.01 per Lb on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices were up by $0.02 per Lb.

Litho Sheets and MLC Clips were up by $0.01 per Lb each from previous day’s levels.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices witnessed no variation in prices.

The prices of Old Cast, Old Sheet and Painted Siding saw marginal increase of $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.

UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices were up by $0.01 per Lb each.

 Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle prices remained flat on Index.

The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too reported no change on 21^st February, 2019.

HMS 80/20 prices held steady over the previous day.

Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also saw no change in prices when compared with the previous day.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

304 SS Turning witnessed no variation in prices on 21^st February, 2019.

309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.

330 SS prices were flat on Index.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too remained unchanged on Index.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region remained totally flat on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices reported no change in prices on Thursday, February 21^st, 2019.

Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.

Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices too remained flat on Index.
