BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on October 20^th, Tuesday. Aluminum scrap prices declined, whereas Brass and Bronze scrap prices surged higher on Index. Stainless Steel scrap prices declined from the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing prices edged higher by CNY 200 per MT each over the previous day.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also was up by CNY 200 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices edged higher by CNY 100 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices saw no change on Index.

Cu/Al Radiator prices were unchanged on Index.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were flat on Tuesday, October 20^th.

Heater Cores prices increased by CNY 50 per MT on Index.

Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a decline of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too were down by CNY 50 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers remained unchanged.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices registered decline by CNY 50 per MT.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT each on 20^th October, 2020.

The prices of UBC and Zorba 90% INF were unchanged from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 20^th October, 2020.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices remained unchanged over the previous day.

304 SS Solid prices were down by CNY 50 per MT.

The price of 304 SS Turning dropped by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

309 SS and 310 SS prices witnessed decrease of CNY 100 per MT and CNY 150 per MT respectively.

316 SS Solid scrap prices edged lower by CNY 100 per MT over the day on October 20^th.

Shred SS prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded modest rise from the previous day.

Brass Radiator scrap prices saw no change on October 20^th, 2020.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT each.
