20th November, 2023: Chinese Aluminum Scrap Prices Soared on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 20^th, Monday. Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices held steady. Copper scrap prices too remained unchanged over the previous day. Stainless Steel scrap prices dipped. Meantime, Aluminum scrap prices were up from the previous day.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing witnessed no price change over the previous day.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also remained flat.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained flat. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices remained unchanged.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Monday, November 20^th.

Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too were up by CNY 100 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Transformers prices increased by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices jumped higher by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Old Sheet and Old Cast witnessed rise of CNY 100 per MT each on November 20th, 2023.

Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90% NF scrap prices soared by CNY 50 per MT each over the prior day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on November 20^th, 2023.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices declined by CNY 50 per MT each when compared with the prior day.

310 SS scrap prices too were down by CNY 50per MT on November 20^th, 2023.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.        

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on November 20^th, 2023.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
