20th November, 2019: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Posted Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices reported mixed trend on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 20^th, Wednesday. Steel scrap prices held steady. Aluminum, Copper, Brass and Bronze scrap prices recorded marginal increase, whereas Stainless Steel scrap prices declined on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 100 per MT.

#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 100 per MT.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 100 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too surged higher by CNY 50 per MT when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer prices held steady on Index.

Cu Yokes prices too were flat compared with the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator, Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT each on Index on Wednesday, November 20^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged over the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too were up by CNY 50 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Transformers prices remained unchanged on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT.

The prices of Old Sheet and Old Cast witnessed rise of CNY 50 per MT each on November 20^th, 2019.

Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90% NF scrap prices remained flat on Index.

 Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 20^th November, 2019.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices declined by CNY 50 per MT.

304 SS Solid prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT.

The price of 304 SS Turning dropped by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

309 SS and 310 SS prices witnessed decrease of CNY 100 per MT and CNY 150 per MT respectively.

316 SS Solid scrap prices edged lower by CNY 100 per MT over the day on November 20^th.

Shred SS prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China surged higher on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT on November 20^th, 2019.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.
