19th February, 2024: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Posted Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices edged lower on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on February 19^th, Monday. Copper and Brass/Bronze Scrap prices were up from the previous day. Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 350 per MT.

#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 350 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also surged higher by CNY 350 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices increased by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too were up by CNY 100 per MT when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

Cu/Al Radiators and Heater Cores prices soared by CNY 100 per MT each over the previous day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were up by CNY 50 per MT on Monday, February 19th, 2024.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices were unchanged from the prior day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a dip of CNY 200 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots prices too were down by CNY 200 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers witnessed decline by CNY 100 per MT each on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched lower by CNY 200 per MT.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices were down by CNY 200 per MT each on February 19^th, 2024.

Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90%NF prices declined by CNY 100 per MT each.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 19^th February, 2024.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were flat on Index.

304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices too held steady.

309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices witnessed no change when compared with the prior day.

310 SS scrap prices were unmoved on February 19^th, 2024.

Shred SS prices were unchanged over the day.        

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded slight increase from the previous day.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were unchanged on February 19^th, 2024.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices were up by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.
