18th October, 2019- North American Scrap Metal Prices Recorded Marginal Rise on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices remained mostly unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on October 18^th, Friday. Stainless Steel and Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Copper and Aluminum scrap prices registered marginal increase, whereas Brass/Bronze scrap prices remained flat on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing increased marginally by $0.02 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.02 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went higher by $ 0.02 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery remained unchanged when matched with the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices were up by $0.01 per Lb on Index. #3 Copper-Light copper prices edged higher by $0.02 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator and Harness Wire 35% Recovery scrap were unchanged over the day.

Copper Transformer Scrap and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices remained unchanged. Cu Yokes prices too were flat from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe saw no variation on October 18^th, 2019.

Heater Cores and Romex Wires prices witnessed no change when compared with the previous day.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights reported no change from previous day price levels.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap prices were up marginally by $0.01 per Lb. The prices of 3003 Scrap too edged higher by $0.01 per Lb. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too saw slight increase by $0.01 per Lb each.

The prices of 6063 Extrusions and 6063 Extrusions/Fe reported no change on Index.

Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions increased marginally by $0.01 per Lb each.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators, Al/Cu Radiators/Fe and Aluminum Radiators/Fe remained unchanged on Index. Aluminum Radiators edged higher by $0.01 per Lb on Index. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices held steady on 18^th October, 2019.

Chrome Wheels saw marginal increase in prices by $0.01 per Lb on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices were up by $0.01 per Lb.

Litho Sheets and MLC Clips were up by $0.01 per Lb each from previous day’s levels.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices witnessed no variation in prices.

The prices of Old Cast, Old Sheet and Painted Siding saw marginal increase of $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.

UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices remained flat on index.

 Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle prices remained flat on Index.

The prices of #1 Busheling scrap held steady on Index.

#1 HMS reported no change on 18^th October, 2019.

HMS 80/20 prices held steady over the previous day.

Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also saw no change in prices when compared with the previous day.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

304 SS Turning witnessed no change in prices on 18^th October, 2019.

309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.

330 SS prices were flat.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too remained unchanged on Index.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region remained totally flat on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices reported no change in prices on Friday, October 18^th, 2019.

Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.

Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices too remained flat on Index.
