17th November, 2020: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Declined Substantially on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese Copper and Aluminum scrap prices declined modestly on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 17^th, Tuesday. Stainless Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices witnessed slight decline on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady over the day.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price decline of CNY 800 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also decreased by CNY 800 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were down by CNY 400 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery witnessed decline by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices edged down by CNY 50 per MT on Index.

Cu Yokes prices were down by CNY 50 per MT.

Cu/Al Radiator and Heater Cores prices recorded decline by CNY 150 per MT and CNY 300 per MT respectively on Index.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT on Tuesday, November 17^th, 2020.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices witnessed no change on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 150 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers witnessed a decline of CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 150 per MT.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices witnessed decline by CNY 150 per MT each on November 17^th, 2020.

UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices too dropped by CNY 50 per MT each from the prior day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 17^th November, 2020.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices declined by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too were down by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning dipped by CNY 150 per MT on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices were down by CNY 200 per MT and CNY 300 per MT respectively when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices too dropped by CNY 300 per MT on November 17^th, 2020.

Shred SS prices witnessed a drop by CNY 150 per MT over the day.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT on November 17^th, 2020.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were down by CNY 150 per MT on Index.
