16th May, 2023: Scrap Gold and Platinum Prices Unmoved, Silver Surged on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked as well as platinum remained flat on Tuesday, 16^th May, 2023 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. On the contrary, he prices of silver scrap surged higher on Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices remained unchanged at $ 1,146.19 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too remained flat at $ 1,469.47 and $ 1,794.72 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also held steady when compared with the day before. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed no change at $ 788.18 per Oz. Silver scrap prices edged higher by $0.03 per Lb on Index.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices remained unchanged at $ 1,084.15 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too remained flat at $ 1,389.94 and $ 1,697.58 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also held steady when compared with the day before. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed no change at $ 788.18 per Oz. Silver scrap prices inched higher by $0.02 per Oz.
