15th August, 2018-North American Scrap Metal Prices Declined on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap prices mostly declined on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on August 15^th, Wednesday. Copper, Stainless Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices declined on Index. Aluminum scrap prices remained unchanged on Index over the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices too were unmoved on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

Alternator prices declined marginally by $0.01 per Lb on Index. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing slipped by $0.01 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.01 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went lower by $ 0.01 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery declined by $0.05 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were down by $0.02 per Lb from the previous day prices. #3 Copper-Light copper prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator remained unchanged over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices were down by $0.01 per Lb.

Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices were flat.

Cu Yokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb each.

Romex Wire prices saw decline of $0.02 per Lb on August 15^th, 2018.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices decreased by $0.02 per Lb.

The prices of Heater Cores too were down by $0.02 per Lb.

Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights dropped by $0.01 per Lb.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too were steady on Index. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too were unchanged.

The prices of 6063 Extrusions held steady over the day.

Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions remained flat when compared with the previous day.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe remained flat. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on 15^th August, 2018.

Chrome Wheels and remained flat on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices held steady over the previous day.

Litho Sheets and MLC Clips witnessed no change from previous day’s levels.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices too remained unchanged.

The prices of Old Cast and UBC saw no change over the previous day.

Old Sheet, Painted Siding and Zorba 90% NF prices too held steady.

 Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle prices remained flat over the previous day.

The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too witnessed no change on 15^th August, 2018.

HMS 80/20 prices held steady on Index.

Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also reported no change in prices in comparison with the previous day.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 301 SS prices reported marginal decline by $0.01 per Lb each.

304 SS Solid prices too were down $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.

304 SS Turning prices declined by $0.01 per Lb on 15^th August, 2018.

309 SS prices edged lower by $0.01 per Lb on a daily basis.

310 SS prices witnessed marginal decline by $0.01 per Lb from the prior day.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid and 330 SS prices too were down by $0.01 per Lb each.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region remained totally flat on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap and 85/15 Brass Scrap prices declined by $0.02 per Lb each.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by $0.05 per Lb on Wednesday, August 15^th, 2018.

Brass Radiator /Fe prices remained unchanged.

Brass Radiator Ends prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb.

Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices too were down by $0.02 per Lb each.
