14th September, 2021: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Dipped Heavily on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on September 14^th, Tuesday. Stainless Steel, Aluminum prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Brass and Bronze scrap prices too were down sharply. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down sharply by CNY 1,650 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined heavily by CNY 1,650 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 800 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded a down move of $500 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes prices edged lower by CNY 100 per MT each on Index when matched with the prior day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT from the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 500 per MT.

Heater Cores prices too declined by CNY 600 per MT on Tuesday, September 14^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 1,200 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 1,200 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers were down by CNY 600 per MT on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 1,200 per MT on September 14^th, 2021.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices were down by CNY 1,200 per MT each.

UBC and  Zorba 90% INF prices dropped by CNY 600 per MT each on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 14^th September, 2021.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices witnessed decline by CNY 150 per MT on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too were down by CNY 250 per MT over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning dropped by CNY 250 per MT on Index.

309 SS and 310 SS prices were down by CNY 350 per MT and CNY 450 per MT respectively when compared with the prior day.

316 SS Solid scrap prices declined by CNY 350 per MT on September 14^th, 2021.

Shred SS prices were down by CNY 250 per MT in prices over the day.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China dropped on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on September 14^th, 2021.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too dropped by CNY 150 per MT each.
