14th June, 2019: North American Scrap Metal Prices Dropped on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices declined marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on May 22^nd, Wednesday. Aluminum and Brass/Bronze scrap prices declined on Index. Meantime, Steel and Stainless Steel Scrap prices recorded no change on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.02 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.02 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright edged lower by $ 0.02 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery witnessed a decline of $0.01 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were down by $0.01 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices inched lower by $0.02 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Transformer and Copper Radiator scrap remained unchanged.

Cu Yokes prices reported no change over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends, Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe remained flat on June 14^th, 2019.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices witnessed no change over the day.

Romex Wire  and Heater Cores prices were unchanged on Index.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights reported no change from previous day price levels.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap prices were down by $0.01 per Lb over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too declined by $0.01 per Lb. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels too were down by $0.01 per Lb.

The prices of 6063 Extrusions and 6063 Extrusion/Fe dropped by $0.01 per Lb each over the day.

Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap remained unchanged over the day.

6061 Extrusions saw marginal decline of $0.01 per Lb.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators/Fe and Al/Cu Radiators witnessed no change on Index.

Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on 14^th June, 2019.

Chrome Wheels and E.C Aluminum Wire prices saw marginal decline by $0.01 per Lb each.

Litho Sheets and MLC Clips dropped marginally by $0.01 per Lb each.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings and Painted Siding prices remained unchanged on Index.

The prices of Old Cast, Old Sheet and Painted Siding dropped marginally by $0.01 per Lb each.

UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices witnessed no change on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle prices remained flat over the previous day.

The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too witnessed no change on June 14^th, 2019.

HMS 80/20 prices held steady on Index.

Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also reported no change in prices in comparison with the previous day.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

304 SS Turning witnessed no change in prices on June 14^th, 2019.

309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.

330 SS prices were flat from the prior day.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too remained unchanged on Index.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region saw marginal decline on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap and 85/15 Brass Scrap prices were down by $0.01 per Lb each.

Brass Radiator, Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices remained unchanged on Friday, June 14^th, 2019.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb each over the previous day.

Meantime, Rod Borings witnessed no change over the previous day.
