BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on January 14^th, Thursday. Copper scrap prices declined on Index. Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Meantime, Brass & Bronze, Steel scrap prices held steady.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price decline of CNY 50 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also decreased by CNY 50 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices held steady on Index. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices saw no variation over the previous day.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices saw no change in prices over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator prices inched Cu/Al Radiator prices remained unchanged.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Thursday, January 14^th.

Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too were up by CNY 100 per MT.

 Aluminum Radiators and Transformers prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices jumped higher by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Old Sheet and Old Cast witnessed rise of CNY 100 per MT each on January 14^th, 2021.

Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90% NF scrap prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 14^th January, 2021.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on January 14^th, 2021.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day. 

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded no change from the previous day.

Brass Radiator scrap prices saw no change on January 14^th, 2021.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were unchanged on Index.
