13th May, 2019: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Saw Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on May 13^th, Monday. Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices held steady. Copper and Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed marginal decline over the previous day. Meantime, Aluminum scrap prices edged higher on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too tumbled by CNY 200 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery remained flat on Index when matched with the day before.

Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices remained unchanged on Index.

Cu/Al Radiator prices were flat on Index.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores prices saw no change on Monday, May 13^th, 2019.

Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers remained flat on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire, Old Cast and Old Sheet prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT each on May 13^th, 2019.

UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices witnessed no change when compared with the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 13^th May, 2019.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices declined by CNY 50 per MT.

304 SS Solid prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT.

The price of 304 SS Turning too dropped by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

309 SS and 310 SS prices witnessed marginal decrease of CNY 100 per MT and CNY 150 per MT respectively.

316 SS Solid scrap prices edged lower by CNY 100 per MT over the day on May 13^th.

Shred SS prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on May 13^th, 2019.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
