13th July, 2018: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Declined on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese Aluminum and Copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 13^th, Friday. Brass and Bronze scrap prices witnessed no change on Index when compared with the previous day. Stainless Steel scrap prices too were unchanged from the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices mostly held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 400 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined by CNY 400 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices dropped by CNY 100 per Mt. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged over the previous day.

Copper Transformer prices were flat on Index when matched with the prior day.

Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices too reported no change over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices saw no change.

Heater Cores prices held steady on Friday, July 13^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices reported no change from the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers remained unchanged.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT.

Old Cast prices too witnessed a down move of CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Old Sheets declined by CNY 100 per MT on July 13^th, 2018.

Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices reported no change on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 13^th July, 2018.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 310 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

316 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on July 13^th.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on July 13^th, 2018.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
