12th January, 2022: Scrap Gold and Silver Prices Soared, Platinum Unchanged on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked moved higher from previous day on Wednesday, 12^th January, 2022 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Meantime, the prices of Platinum scrap held steady over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 7.15 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 9.16 per Oz and $ 11.19 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 4.58 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap remained unchanged over the previous day at $ 678.81 per Oz. Silver scrap prices saw marginal up tick of $0.11 per Oz.

 In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged higher by $ 6.76 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 8.67 and $ 10.58 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 4.34 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed no change from the previous day. Meantime, Silver scrap prices inched higher by $ 0.10 per Oz during the day.
