11th October, 2019: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Posts Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices reported mixed trend on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on October 11^th, Friday. Steel scrap prices held steady. Aluminum and Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed marginal decline over the previous day. Meantime, Copper, Brass and Bronze scrap prices edged higher on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 300 per MT.

#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 300 per MT.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 300 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too surged higher by CNY 100 per MT when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer prices held steady on Index.

Cu Yokes prices too were flat compared with the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices inched higher by CNY 100 per MT and CNY 50 per MT respectively on Index.

Heater Cores were up by CNY 100 per MT on Friday, October 11^th, 2019.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged over the previous day.

 Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 150 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers declined by CNY 100 per MT and CNY 50 per MT respectively.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 150 per MT.

Old Cast prices too witnessed a down move of CNY 150 per MT on 11^th October, 2019.

The prices of Old Sheets saw a down move of CNY 150 per MT.

UBC prices declined by CNY 50 per MT each from the previous day levels.

Zorba 90% NF prices remained unchanged on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 11^th October, 2019.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices witnessed no change on Index compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap edged lower by CNY 50 per MT on October 11^th, 2019.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China surged higher on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT on October 11^th, 2019.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.
