11th July, 2018: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Recorded Huge Decline on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 11^th, Wednesday. Aluminum, Brass and Bronze scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Steel prices held steady on Index. Meantime, Stainless Steel scrap prices declined on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down sharply by CNY 1,700 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined heavily by CNY 1,700 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 800 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded a down move of $400 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes prices were down by CNY 100 per MT each.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices declined by CNY 200 per MT.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 400 per MT.

Heater Cores prices were down by CNY 600 per MT on Wednesday, July 11^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices reported marginal decline by CNY 50 per MT each from the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 100 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers remained unchanged over the previous day.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT.

Old Cast and Old Sheets prices too witnessed a down move of CNY 100 per MT each on July 11^th, 2018.

UBC prices declined by CNY 50 per MT.

Meantime, Zorba 90% INF prices witnessed no change on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 11^th July, 2018.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices declined by CNY 100 per MT.

304 SS Solid prices too were down by CNY 150 per MT.

The price of 304 SS Turning dropped by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

309 SS and 310 SS prices reported declines of CNY 250 per MT and CNY 400 per MT respectively.

316 SS Solid scrap prices edged lower by CNY 250 per MT over the day on July 11^th this year.

Shred SS prices too were down by CNY 150 per MT.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 300 per MT on July 11^th, 2018.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too have dropped by CNY 300 per MT and CNY 500 per MT respectively.
