11th February, 2019: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Witnessed Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on February 11^th, Monday. Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices held steady. Meantime, Copper and Aluminum scrap prices witnessed marginal decline over the previous day. Meantime, Stainless Steel scrap prices edged higher on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too tumbled by CNY 100 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were unchanged over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too remained flat when matched with the day before.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices remained unchanged.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Monday, February 11^th.

Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 200 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 200 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers declined by CNY 100 per MT and CNY 50 per MT respectively.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 200 per MT.

Old Cast prices too witnessed a down move of CNY 200 per MT on 11^th February, 2019.

The prices of Old Sheets declined by CNY 200 per MT.

UBC prices dropped by CNY 100 per MT from the previous day levels.

Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change over the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 11^th February, 2019.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices climbed higher by CNY 100 per MT.

304 SS Solid prices too increased by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning witnessed a rise of CNY 150 per MT.

309 SS and 310 SS prices witnessed increase of CNY 300 per MT and CNY 400 per MT respectively.

316 SS Solid scrap prices edged higher by CNY 300 per MT over the day on February 11^th.

Shred SS prices increased by CNY 150 per MT.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on February 11^th, 2019.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
