10th November, 2023-North American Scrap Metal Prices Declined on Index

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap metal prices tumbled on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 10^th, 2023, Friday. Brass, Bronze and Copper scrap prices declined on Index. Aluminum and Stainless Steel scrap prices recorded decline over the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The price of Alternator scrap witnessed no change on Index. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing  and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were down by $0.05 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright too dropped by $0.05 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery were down by $0.01 per Lb over the day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too dropped by $0.01 per Lb on Index. #3 Copper-Light copper prices tumbled by $0.05 per Lb from previous day’s level.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap witnessed downmove by $0.01 per Lb from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices were flat over the previous day.

CuYokes prices dipped by $0.01 per Lb on Index.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices were unchanged when compared with the day before.

Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe witnessed a dip by $0.03 per Lb each on November 10^th, 2023.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices were down by $0.01 per each on Index.

The price of Romex Wire dropped by $0.01 per Lb during the day.     

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights held steady from previous day price levels.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

1100 Scrap prices inched lower by $0.01 per Lb over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap were down by $0.01 per Lb on Index. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions too declined by $0.01 per Lb each.

The prices of 6061 Extrusions recorded decline of $0.01 per Lb over the day.

Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6063 Extrusions/Fe dipped by $0.01 per Lb each when compared with the previous day.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe were down by $0.03 each on Index. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices were flat over the day. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices recorded no change on November 10^th, 2023.

Chrome Wheels were down by $0.01 per Lb on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched lower by $0.02 per Lb over the previous day.

Litho Sheets and MLC Clips were down by $0.01 per Lb each respectively from previous day’s levels.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb.

The prices of Old Sheet, Old Cast, Zorba and UBC saw dip by $0.01 per Lb each over the previous day.

Painted Siding prices too were down by $0.01 per Lb each.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 Bundle and #1 Busheling prices were flat over the previous day.

The prices of #1 HMS too witnessed no change on 10^th November, 2023.

HMS 80/20 prices were unchanged on Index.

Sheet Metal prices recorded no change on Index.

Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel prices also were unchanged in comparison with the previous day.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were flat on Index.

301 SS recorded decline by $0.01 per Lb on Index.

304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices witnessed a dip by $0.01 per Lb each in prices on November 10^th, 2023.

309SS and 310 SS prices were down by $0.01 per Lb and $0.02 per Lb respectively on a daily basis.

330 SS prices dipped by $0.03 per Lb when compared with the prior day.

Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices too inched lower by $0.01 per Lb on Index.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region declined on Index.

70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap and Brass Radiator scrap prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb each on Friday, November 10^th, 2023.

Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends prices were flat on Index.

Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices declined by $0.01 per Lb each.
