10th May, 2018: Scrap Gold and Platinum Prices Rose, Silver Declined on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked were up on Thursday, 10^th May on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Silver scrap fell marginally over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 4.51 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 5.78 per Oz and $ 7.06 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 2.89 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 1.46 per Oz to reach $ 665.69 per Oz. Silver scrap prices declined by $0.01 per Oz to touch $13.53 per Oz when compared with the prior day.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 4.27 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 5.47 and $ 6.69 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 2.74 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed up move of $ 1.46 per Oz to reach $ 665.69 per Oz. Silver scrap prices dropped by $0.01 per Oz to $12.01 per Oz over the previous day.
