17th June, 2021: Scrap Gold and Platinum Prices Dropped, Silver Surged

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Thursday, 17^th June, 2021 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Silver scrap prices increased marginally over the previous day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 2.47 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 3.17 and $ 3.86 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 1.59 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 5.10 per Oz to reach $ 837.03 per Oz. Silver scrap prices increased marginally by $0.07 per Oz when compared with the previous day.   

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 2.33 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 3.00 and $ 3.65 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 1.50 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 5.10 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices recorded marginal jump by $0.06 per Lb.
