GJEPC Hosts Virtual Exhibitions Aimed at Boosting Gem and Jewellery Demand

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The series of virtual buyer-seller meets are likely to become game changers for the Indian gems and jewellery industry, said the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).

The Council had recently organized the country’s first ever virtual gems and jewellery trade show, India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) Virtual 2020, which hosted as many as 330+ exhibitors and attracted 1000+ buyers. A total of over 9,900 business meetings were conducted during the five-day jewellery extravaganza. It had also conducted similar meets for Loose Diamonds and Plain Gold Jewellery.

The success of the above virtual events has prompted GJEPC to organize a virtual buyer-seller meet (VBSM) for the Diamond Studded Jewellery from 25th to 28th of November. The event will showcase innovative and trendy jewellery from top diamond jewellery manufacturers in India. Buyers are expected from the UK, the USA, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Russia.

The GJEPC announced that it will host separate VBSMs for loose gemstone from November 3rd to 6th, for loose gem stones from November 9th to 11th and for silver jewellery from November 17th to 19th. The above product-specific VBSMs are specially designed for international buyers.
