Sino-Canadian Metals Inc. (SCMI) is a Delaware corporation, headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. The company's business objective is to profit from the recent strong worldwide revival of interest in precious and base metals. The Company’s primary activity is in mining and production of base metals, particularly, nickel, copper, zinc and lead. The company's mining operations are in the growth mining regions of China and Southeast Asia. The goal of the company is to establish itself as a major force in the mining industry in these areas by bringing together its network of financing sources, management expertise, the latest mining technology and extensive local industry and government contacts.

The Company plans to operate in China through a Sino-Joint Venture called Qinghai Dong Zhou Metals Development Company Ltd. Sino-Canadian owns 80% of this Joint Venture and under certain conditions, it can increase its participation to 90%.
