Our path to becoming a certified waste management company.

Our company is over 90 years old and has gained a lot in importance in its history.

When Heinrich Leibfried went into business for himself after the war in 1920 and dealt with “base metals”, there was still no talk of environmental protection, recycling or limited raw materials. But the sensitivity for it grew and the small company developed into a medium-sized waste management company with 20 employees today. The company got its name "Peters" in 1941, when the founder handed the company over to his daughter and son-in-law Jakob Peters. With their sons Werner and Klaus Peters, the third generation took over the helm in 1978. In 1995 the two separated on the best of terms. Klaus Peters GmbH was born.

In 2004 the company relocated from Weiherstraße to Schwertstraße within Sindelfingen. The new location offers more space and a direct connection to the motorway. The company now employs 20 people. The family business also includes Hannelore Peters and, since 2006, their son Roland as managing director. With competence and innovation, he leads the company into a secure future.
