History of the Eichstetter GmbH company

1938

Founding of the company by Karl Eichstetter.

1939

Karl Eichstetter is called up for military service with his truck. After a shell hit, he loses his car.

1945

The company founder comes home on foot.

1947

Business operations are resumed. For the time being with a wood gas made from old parts.

1947-1950

In the years of reconstruction everything is transported - cattle, wood, removals and the like.

1950

When the economic situation improves, the first driver is hired. The actual time of gravel transport begins now .

1959

The first cable excavator is purchased. Entry into the earthworks business.

1960

The first gravel pit is opened.

1965

The first simple sand and gravel washing system is installed.

1967

His son Helmut joins the company.

1968

The first wheel loader is bought.

1976

A larger sorting and washing facility is put into operation.

1981

Helmut Eichstetter takes over the business. Since the stocks are running out in the old mining, new mining areas are being explored.

1981-1984

The fleet continues to grow, investments are made in trucks, hydraulic excavators and wheel loaders.

1985

The new mining area in Höllkreuth is opened up.

1986

The new modern processing plant is put into operation.

1989

The crushing plant is created.

1993

Further investments, including in a state-of-the-art processing facility, considerably increase the quality of the products manufactured.

1993-1995

The fleet is constantly being expanded.

1996

Helmut Eichstetter jun. starts working in the company. In the same year, the company entered the recycling sector by setting up a stationary rubble recycling plant.

1999

The plant for gravel processing is being modernized and expanded.

2000

Ludwig Eichstetter starts in the company. The existing chippings crushing plant will be expanded and expanded.

2002

Conversion of the Helmut Eichstetter company into Eichstetter GmbH .

2003

65th company anniversary and open day at the Furth-Höllkreut gravel plant.
