E-cycling s.r.o. is a producer responsibility organization that provides fulfillment of the obligations of producers and importers of electrical equipment, batteries and accumulators, packaging and non-packaging products. It provides advice related to the fulfillment of the exclusive obligations of manufacturers and provides the service of an Authorized Representative for foreign manufacturers.

The main mission of E-cycling is to protect the environment and human health by ensuring an efficient system for the collection and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment, used batteries and accumulators, and packaging and non-packaging waste. On behalf of producers, we fulfill the obligations regarding separate collection, recycling of electrical waste, batteries and accumulators and obligations regarding packaging and non-packaging products.

History

The company E-cycling s.r.o. was established on 4 April 2009 as a collective system. In its beginning the company united producers and importers of electrical devices for which it fulfilled their legal obligations. Later it extended its activity to batteries, accumulators and packaging commodities.

Act on Waste No. 79/2015 Coll. introduced a new form of collective fulfilment of obligations resulting from the extended responsibility of producers.

The main purpose of E-cycling s.r.o. company activity is the environmental protection through ensuring effective recycling of waste from electric and electronic devices, waste from batteries and accumulators and waste from packaging and non-packaging products. Each of the above mentioned activities is legislatively conditioned by granting the authorization by the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic.

E-cycling s.r.o. company was granted the authorization for the activity of the Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO): for electrical devices, batteries and accumulators, packaging and non-packaging products.
