Big Tyre has three primary product lines:Its principal product line is the design and manufacture of solid rubber-tyred wheels for large underground machinery such as LHDs and trailers used in longwall mining, supplying Australia's major OEM companies, machinery hire companies, and mines with new wheels as well as rebuilding used wheels. These tyres typically range from the 500mm diameter bolt-on stub-axle wheel assemblies with a capacity of just 2.5 tonne used on equipment trailers to the LHD wheels of 1.3m diameter that each carry 35 - 45 tonne.Big Tyre also rebuilds and repairs pneumatic and solid tyres from small industrial forklift tyres to large OTR tyres used in mining, covering a very wide range of industries.Big Tyre's third principal product line is the rebuilding and repair of rubber tracks and the solid wheels in the undercarriage of large agricultural tractors.
