23rd January, 2024: Chinese Copper Scrap Prices Surged on Index
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices increased by CNY 100 per MT each on Index.
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices witnessed no change on ScrapMonster Price Index as on January 23rd, 2024, Tuesday. Copper and Stainless Steel scrap prices were up from the previous day. Meantime, Brass, Bronze and Steel scrap prices held steady.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 200 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 200 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 200 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery witnessed no change when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices were unchanged.
Cu/Al Radiators saw no change in prices.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady over the previous day.
Heater Cores were flat on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024.
Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices witnessed no change on Index.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots too remained unchanged.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices remained unmoved on Index.
Old Cast prices too were flat on 23rd January, 2024.
The prices of Old Sheets and UBC held steady on Index.
Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change from the previous day.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on 23rd January, 2024.
Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices were up by CNY 50per MT on Index.
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices increased by CNY 100 per MT each on Index.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices surged higher by CNY 150 per MT each when compared with the prior day.
310 SS scrap prices soared by CNY 200 per MT on January 23rd, 2024.
Shred SS prices too witnessed surge by CNY 100 per MT over the day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded no change from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices were unchanged on 23rd January, 2024.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
