The North American copper scrap mostly have shown a trifling daily drop in prices as on May 21st Tuesday
MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : The North American copper scrap mostly have shown a trifling daily drop in prices as on May 21st Tuesday.
# 1 and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing were down by $ 0.02 per Lb.#1 Copper bare bright also fell by $0.02 per Lb. #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery were down by $0.01 per Lb. The prices of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery were unchanged. Copper radiators and #3 Copper-Light copper prices each were lower by $0.01 per Lb.
The prices of Alternator, Copper Transformer Scrap, Cu Yokes, Cu/Al Radiator Ends, Cu/Al Radiators, Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices saw no change as per ScrapMonster price index for the day.
Romex Wire prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb, whereas no change was seen in prices of Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores
The other items whose prices remained unchanged were Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas lights.
