Iran crude steel output advanced sharply by 8.2% year-on-year to 10.7 million metric tons in the first nine months of this year, as per latest data released by the World Steel Association (Worldsteel).
TEHRAN (Scrap Monster): Iran crude steel output advanced sharply by 8.2% year-on-year to 10.7 million metric tons in the first nine months of this year, as per latest data released by the World Steel Association (Worldsteel).
According to the Worldsteel, the growth of Iran is extraordinary if compare to other major steel producer countries. The crude steel output from Germany, Spain, UK and Ukraine dropped by 4.9%, 11.9%, 2% and 5.4% respectively.
The worldsteel data also shows that Iran becomes an important steel producer country in the world, with the new production capacity.
