Ukraine Crude Steel output to rise in Nov: Metallurgprom

Ukrainian association of metal producers, Metallurgprom, has forecast that the country's November crude steel production will rise by 0.7% compared to September this year to 2.6 million metric tons (mt).

KIEV (Scrap Monster): Ukrainian association of metal producers, Metallurgprom, has forecast that the country's November crude steel production will rise by 0.7% compared to September this year to 2.6 million metric tons (mt).

According to Metallurgprom's forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.35 million mt in November, up 3.3% compared to September, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to be 2.34 million mt, up 2.1% compared to September.

In October, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.59 million mt of crude steel, 2.34 million mt of pig iron and 2.37 million mt of rolled steel.
